Documentary film opens up a window to Madagascar

A short documentary (a bit below 20 minutes) presenting the project is finally published! The film Coordinates of Deforestation explores the restoration and mapping work of Association Mitsinjo while presenting the amazing wildlife of Madagascar. The film was shot almost entirely in and around Andasibe area.

The whole project crew would like to thank firstly Eija Palosuo for shooting, narrating and editing the film completely on a voluntary basis, and secondly Anna Rybalova, FANC’s Russian EVS volunteer, for taking care of the post-production of the film.  It is absolutely fantastic to be able to show something this professional and say that it was all made possible by dedicated volunteers! Of course we also wish to thank everyone in Mitsinjo who participated in the production as well as Manondroala’s technical specialist Harifidy Rakoto Ratsimba. Last but not least, a big thank you goes to Rôla Gamana, who gave his music for the good cause of spreading the word about Madagascar through this film.
